Yes the 3012 and it would start my 15k BTU Coleman about half the time the other half it would go into overload. Even if it started it usually beeped and logged an overload. The 15k A/C pulls 70+ amps startup surge.
The reason I installed the Easystart is I have the whole panel running through the inverter and even on gen or shore power the Magnum is so sensitive to voltage sags that the A/C start surge would sometimes cause the inverter to disconnect shore and try and start the A/C itself. Easystart elminated that issue and as a side effect can start it no problem on batteries.
