Mini-split: How to install the interior piece

It's a lighter duty trailer. I'm interested in hanging the interior portion where the bedroom TV would be in a front bed arrangement. I would guess it's a little heavier than a TV, but would be secured directly to the wall vs. on an arm like a TV. It's an outside wall, and I have no idea how the manufacturers strengthen the TV locations. The trailer has aluminum framing. All my old trailers were wood framed. What's the difference as far as hanging a significant weight on the wall?
  • I would fasten a peice of 3/4" plywood to the wall, a bit bigger than the unit, first. Would spread the load and hopefully give you fastening oportunities to at least 3 of those aluminum frame studs.
