Photobucket is critically ill. I started with their hosting years back and the interface was intuitive and easy to navigate. Now, it is so laced with different ads and pop-ups, it is miserable. I bookmarked a page containing my "Library". That gets me past a lot of administration and selection choices, only needing to open folders and selecting the images I wish to share.
If it didn't mean a lot of keyboard time, I'd switch to a different hosting site in a heartbeat.
That "programmable charger" reference has my gears turning. I'd bet someone familiar with Raspberry Pi or Arduino could do the trick for the software side. That only leaves the hardware necessary to make it work. Kind of like a Borg charger but with a bit more intelligence. :B
