Morningstar, Outback, Midnite, which to choose.

Well it is time to pick out a respectable controller since Eco-worthy doesn't build 60a model. Of the larger MPPT controllers the three listed are all in the same general price range. The Mornings...

I recently replaced mine with the Midnite Classic 150. I dare say I make an excellent choice. It was a hard decision between that and the Outback, but in the long run it won. I like the many adjustment available to the user. Especially the calibration of PV and battery voltage read on the display. Quick and easy setup. I can continue to increase the number of panels until I run out of real estate.
