Since you must have won the Lottery and have gone to the Dark Side away from the proven Eco-Ws, you might as well do it right.
Get your battery bank into 24v configuration, have the solar at 24v, buy a 24v inverter and a 24-12 gizmo, and "have it all" :)
I'll be happy if I get it all mounted this season. I'm not exactly the fastest at getting things done, it only took three years to find the right panels. (I think. lol)
I'll also be lucky if I make it through the season without HAVING to buy batteries. They have taken a beating with the testing and camping and I noticed the resting voltages beginning to slip on both of them. Switching to 24v was a thought, but not this year. Selling the old systems pays for the new one but that's it. No lottery winnings here. I'll still have a Eco-w and the Schott poly just in case because as you said, it is a proven solution.

When the controller gets here I'll have the cabling to run it in series first. I'll be dealing with an Isc of over 30a in parallel and want to make sure I have the layout ready to know how much cable to buy and how thick. Once I have that I can start running comparison test. I'll be asking for set up help soon enough.
