Motorhome heat pump troubles

Our motorhome's two-ton Coleman heat pump is suddenly drawing too many amps to run on 30-amp service. On 50-amp service it runs ok, and when we use our 8KW generator it runs fine too. We've changed the filter and it doesn't make a difference. The Powerline Energy Management system indicates it's drawing close to 40 amps. The model number is 6537-871. We're in Tucson for the next couple of months and would like to get this fixed sooner rather than later. Any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks for any ideas!
  • OP here. Thanks all for your assistance.

Finally got into a service place today and they replaced the two RUN capacitors. All seems to be well now. So glad it wasn't more serious!

So Doug was right. Good job.
