Ditto.. Lead acid batteried are good from over 40 below to around 200 or more The higher temp is often found under the hood of a car when running.. the lower one..> Well my car would not start because the ELECTRONICS did not work at -40.. but the battery cranked just fine.
Now For this I am speaking of starting batteries. but the DEEP CYCLE are .. very much the same temp range.
And what Enblethen said about the gasses given off by the battery in normal operation.
