Yup for now i have a piece of 1" foam on the batteries. Held down by a piece of wood. I remember last summer the batteries are just sitting there unused, all day at 13.7 volts. Trailer is on shore power. Thinking this summer i will remove the batteries and store in the garage. Maybe put the solar panel positive on a disconnect switch.
edit: Anyone familiar with the EpEver lineup? Thanks for the suggestions on the Tracer series. Im on the EpEver website and looking at specs. Hoping to learn the differences before making a final decision. I plan to run 6v flooded batteries and dont need super fancy monitoring features.
