Move batts inside trailer worth it? mppt controller rec

Hi everyone the trailer currently has (2) 12v on the tongue of the trailer. I thought about using foam board to insulate the battery boxes a tad. Winter temps here are 30-40f and summer the high 9...

I don't see the logic either.

I have 200 watts (2-12v panels parallel) of solar and an EpSolar MPPT controller. When set up and tested the system I seen 20+ volts coming from the panels and a 20% + increase in the rated amperage going to the batteries.
