System is sized easily double what we consume; that's deliberate because it will be flat mount and partially tree shaded depending on the campsites. If half the panels are in bypass we'll be fine for power.
If some of the panels might be shaded would it be better to connect them in parallel instead of series? In parallel you would only lose the output from the shaded panel(s), but would still have the same voltage, just a few less amps. In series wouldn't you lose more or most of the output when one or more panels are shaded? Might want to check it out before you try to decide on which controller and how you plan to do your wiring.
