I am still mulling over the final choice on the panels. Close to 600w and in the range of 85-135 voc 68-113 vmp (series).
I go to Woodalls portal when RVnet does this. About 50% of time, in the last few weeks.
Controller: (close to 600w)/13V = close to 45A.
Morninstar Tristar 45 is enough, Tristar 60 is plenty.
If I'm not mistaken (can't open Midnite 250 manual), all these controllers offer built-in display (optional in Morningstar), and Morningstar offers a remote display as well (also optional). Midnite has ONLY on-board display, there are no provisions for remote display. If you have a battery monitor, you won't need a remote display for controller though.
