If it was just that it ran your battery down, you have it set too high. The furnace fan takes a LOT of power. When we camped in Yellowstone in Sept 2011, we QUICKLY learned to turn the furnace down to 55 at night and sleep under a lot of quilts. First thing in the AM, we would turn the furnace back up and stay under the covers until the RV warmed up.
Little off topic but fan blew but did not ignite. Already checked the sail switch, it was good. Either the board or the valve. Boards normally fail before the valve so will go with a Dinosaur board. Much much better reviews than the Manufacturers' boards. We have used the furnace many times before in freezing temps without problems. It was just time! Thanks!
