Better yet, get rid of your current converter, but keep the DC power distribution panel. Sell all of you inverters and buy a good quality inverter/charger/transfer switch. It will make your life SO MUCH SIMPLER !
When your current batteries die, replace then with a pair of 6V golf cart batteries. They hold more energy and will last longer.
If you take trips that require multiple nights on the road and you are NOT stopping at sire with electric power
(like a Walmart parking lot), the you will need to run a generator for a few hours to recharge the batteries than have been running the inverter for your refrigerator.
If you don't want to buy/use a generator, the you need a
DC-DC battery charger to recharge your batteries when you ar on the road.
