You might be right with this observation because I wasn't sure the Aili monitor was reading correctly at first. The only other variable that would affect this test was ambient temperature. The ICECO refrigerator was in a 55 degree garage only looking for 40 degrees. While with the AGM battery we were in summer outdoor heat of 80-85 degrees.
I'm going to modify the article so there is no confusion..

If the charger can't supply enough power for the house loads then the additional power comes from the battery.
