I'm no expert on panel differences. Smketter mentioner the cynergys and I jumped on it. I can't do pix right now as I'm on mobile data at bil 15 acres. Its an easy install. I tried to stay cheap but not half arse. My panels are close to the roof but I'm not worried about panel temps as I'm in northern Mich in the summer and all over the south in the winter.
I'm go along the lines of any solar is good solar so I didn't worry about poly or mono. I was probably a lot like other people who concentrate on watts only but, and more watts is better but the other thing I see is that as this system wakes up with daylight it will be showing a very small amperage. Well, any amperage is better than negative amperage. Its like a graph of a hill. It starts out with just a little and shoots up when full sun hits it and tapers off as the sun is lost. In the morning light I will see the charge light going on and off before full sun is on the panels.
When you get done with all this you will think geez that was easy. I would try to run 4 gauge or 6 gauge up to the combiner box. Others or Bogart could advise you better. See what they say. You dont need 4/0 but as the kids on the commercial say "more is better".
