The 24 panels should be a little brighter. As far as I'm aware, Dave-Sparky has not tested those. My theory would be that they may not last quite as long as the 36s as, A. They are brighter, and B. There are fewer of them to spread the power around as the voltage changes. But this could be nothing more than a WAG.
