The 921 and 168 bulbs both use the same base. The 921 is brighter and uses much more current. If you want a bright light get a 921 equivalent, but you cannot always trust the equivalent numbers on ebay. Buy one of the type you think would be right and try it before you place a larger order. To many people are disappointed when they buy a bunch and find the color is wrong, or they are not as bright as they expected.
