For those prices, if it were me, I would at least try one and compare it to the incandescents. Of course... if you're in a hurry... the 10-14 day cruise across the Pacific may make waiting a little difficult.
Any bulbs that don't win the challenge become emergency backups. I have a few in my tool drawer.
