I contacted the company and at first they wouldn't warranty it because I didn't have the receipt.(cash deal) Finally he relented and I returned the burnt bulb and yesterday got a new replacement. Heat had burned it, dark color to the white plastic. I emailed to try and find out why this $25 bulb burned up and what I should do to keep the new one from doing the same thing but 48 hrs later no response. $5 bulbs from china/ebay work just fine!
I still haven't heard back from them. The bulb is a 300 lumin rated at 8-30v regulated. The plastic surround was brown from excessive heat. Is this just a defective unit or is the new one going to die the same death? It's too bad because while expensive, it's a very nice light
