Why don't you buy a few different ones and see what works best for you? This isn't like replacing $100's of dollars of batteries, just a few dollars for experimentation.
Took your advice here .... I ordered about 6 different sizes and configurations.
Panels:
36-1210
48-1210
Bulbs:
18-5050
24-5050
68-1210
range hood 921:
12-5050
36-1210
Figured with all of these I would find the one I like the best for interior lights.
I have a total of 16 interior bulbs and 4 exterior ... the one bulb I find that I like the best for all 16 interior lights I will order ... and use the remainder of these bulbs for the 4 outside lights and a couple back ups.
About $35 to test them all out but want to make sure I get the right bulb I like with the correct light output.
By the time I get done with the initial order and the final 16 bulb order this upgrade will cost just under $100 ... but will pay for itself down the road when I can use my 12V for more important things and save juice on all the lights.
Once I get them in and test everything I will be sure to take a bunch of pictures on how they all look in my fixture up against other standard 1141 bulbs and give my final results.
I hope that will help future buyers like myself currently in making the correct choice.
Thanks and I will be back in a few weeks with my findings.
