Nice! And a heckuva' price!
I recall being happy to score my bulb-style lamps for more like 15 clams. I like these better than the panels for a hair better heat dissipation.
I wonder if these are voltage regulated. If not, they may not last quite as long as regulated bulbs, but should still last plenty long for some serious enjoyment and peace of mind while boondocking.
If they are unregulated, you might notice a brightening when you switch from battery to converter power... and possibly more pronounced on alternator power. If you could try and decipher that and let us know, that would be great.
The Ham radio cats actually prefer the unregulated versions. The regulators emit a good deal of RFI.
Unregulated pros and cons:
Pro: No RFI
Con: Shorter life
