They sure do look like a poor quality LED.
Don
How can you tell?
He can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing he is judging the book by it's cover. The camera that took that shot was metered to compensate for the brightness of the bulb (or in this case... the lit LEDs) by either a small lens aperture, high shutter speed or combination of the two. The resultant photo is not representative of what the eye would see if it were in the room.
Falcon,
Don't sell 'em all. Like any lightbulb, they WILL die at some point. Good to keep some spares on board.
I have no clue who took that picture ... I just googled for a picture of a 68-1210 LED and saw this pic that showed em ... So to say they are poor quality based on this picture is completely incorrect.
I posted pics above of this bulb as compared to the regular bulbs and also a shot of them with the cover off. I'm not judging anything by the cover .. I judged them based on the fact my trailer is full of em' right now and I haev pictures in a few posts back thats show what they look like and the light they give off (if pictures of the open room being lit is what is needed or requested let me know)
This picture is just a random picture I got from the internet and I agree does nothing as far as showing the light I just liked cause it cause it was a lit bulb and not just the bulb by itself ... you get a better idea of how many LED's are on this bad boy. (if you need exact pictures that can be provided as well)
But back to topic ... If anyone is interested let me know.
I did keep a couple for back-ups out of the combined 29 LED bulbs I bought so I'm good with that since we go camping about half a dozen times a year I think these bulbs will be in this trailer long after it's gone (I plan on upgrading in a few years down the road to a newer TT).
