I think Harvey's concern is that, if the pink stuff is solid at -27c, what will happen later in winter when temps really drop? Depending on whete he is in Alberta, it can get brutal cold. I have seen oarts of Alberta get down to the -45 to -50c range.
Will it cause damage if it is already solid at -27, if temps get real cold later on?
