I'll try and remember to take an SG reading on it tomorrow as I'm not discharging it now. The only thing drawing from it right now is the 1989 engine computer. The AGM is holding 12.64 volts right now, whereas the 31 would have been at 12.42v, at this time of night.
I guess the difference between what I did and Mex's EQ prescription, is that I started the eq cycle after a several hour absorption cycle, and it only took a 5% rate briefly to get it to 15.9v, where I had set Acceptance and float to. Then tapered over the next 2 hours until SG quit rising.
My last 2 sets of Crowns previous to this single 31 had max SG's Over 1.300, at least on some of the cells. I never got all those cells all within .010 of each other. Usually a 0.015 spread between the 12 cells was common after an EQcycle in the mid to upper 15's.
And I do love that my Solar can be programmed to do this vital near 16 volt battery maintenance. My Schumacher sc2500a can do it, but not when I decide it is to be done, only when it decides.
Really considering replacing the Schumacher next fall with a 25 amp Battery temp sensor equipped CTEK 56-674. Instead of the traditional converter route.
It has a 13.6v user selectable power supply mode as well as a 'recondition mode' that will do 15.7v at 3 amps max at the push of a button, after a full charge cycle.
