You can not under any circumstances substitute voltage for time.
It's like substituting salt for sugar in a recipe.
Time Spent At Absorbsion Limit........................................
It's magic when "absorbsion limit voltage" is TWEAKABLE and "time is settable".
Engineering a "controller" or a voltage regulator or plug and puke anything is IMPOSSIBLE when the company does not have the resources of a battery design engineer to march into the meeting room, and scream "Your Design Sucks!"
And for the record I am EXTREMELY pro-temperature compensation when an automatic system is employed. The thermistor(s) YES MULTIPLE, must also have a tweak pot in the main controller. The higher temperature thermistor over-rides the lower temperature thermistor. And yes, multiple thermistor employment should be an option.
