No, it is still going, but new symptoms have developed.
The Amps no longer taper. Get it upto 14.9 via 8 amps, and 1 hour later it is 4.4 amps, and 4 hours late it is still 4.4 amps. My solar controller was set for 14.9absv and 15.3vfinish, and 30 minutes at 14.9 or when amps per 100AH capacity fall below 4, but it never got to finish stage anymore. I've lowered the voltages to 14.4 max as I fear thermal runaway
When I try and push it higher briefly with the Meanwell it now requires 10 amps to push it to 15.56 and then amps begin increasing, and I revert to lower voltages for fear of thermal runaway, and the amps do not taper, and even at 13.6v when seemingly full as can be, it requires 2.6 amps, forever.
Lowering the battery tray so a T-1275 can just barely fit, is more involved than I first thought, and some other unexpected expenses have arisen making replacement not so affordable at the moment, so I am hoping it rallies and can last a bit longer.
If it fails before I am ready, I will just use my AGM battery during daylight hours and plug in overnight. I'd prefer not to cycle the same battery which starts my engine. I don't like the possibility of starter disengagement surges affecting my compressor fridge controller. I think it has some capacitors for protection but am not sure.
