The t-1275 will not fit where the AGM currently resides. Not without extensive modification.
The screwy 31 barely fits as is. In fact the interior Hood structure rests on the edge of the case.
It looks like I can lower the tray 1 1/4 inches until the sealed headlamp plug interferes. The headlamp is not moving.
I need to lower it 1 3/8 minimum, to get the t-1275 to fit without modification to hood structure. I'd basically need to remove an area about 1 inch wide and 2.5 inches long on the internal hood structure for clearance. It would be better the have the individual caps on the cells as opposed to the 2 diagonal covers.
The Specific gravity reads as follows
1.280 +20
1.286 +26
1.293 +28
1.283 +28
1.281 +26.5
1.270 +25.5
The numbers are already compensated for temp. The + is how much each cell required to be adjusted showing their different temperatures.
The weak sister cell which did not respond to a 16v EQ cycles previously, has responded now.
These SG numbers do not appear to be bad at all, but the fact that the battery heated up this much in a charge regimen it has had for the last year, says the fat lady is ready to sing, anytime.
