My Solar Experience...So Far

I went the same route earlier this year. 100W Solar panel and 2 "Walmart" batteries. I used to use a generator to top up the batteries each day (3 hours). Now, the Panel brings the batteries up to full charge each day by about mid-day - I have a volt-meter attached directly to the batteries to keep an eye on them.

The past 2 camping trips have been "generator=free" - not sure how things will work out in winter but I'm confident that with a bit of conservation of usage, the Panel should work out well.
