We made the water. We used an evaporator to make pure water from sea water.
I have had to clean and re-coat those potable water tanks and yes they can get gross....not as bad as cleaning condenser seaside :B
Using an evaporator the water was pure but bacteria was present so we still had to chlorinate them.
