Nice work. Reminds me of my sister's trailer several years ago. It had a self-resetting breaker on the 12V line from the battery that was cycling non-stop after arriving at the campground. It turned out to be the same issue you experienced. The load center was near the back of the trailer and the main cables were pinched between the 2x4 wood frame and steel trailer frame beam over the wheels. In camp we had enough tools to roll back the flashing, pry up the 2x4 and pull the slack out far enough to tape over the worn spot before pushing it back inside where it belonged. Fortunately it had only worn through the casing and not damaged the wire itself.
