need a positive circuit solar controller
or use a DROK voltage buck booster as an intermediate step what i need is a charge controller that controls the V+ output the majority of controllers use common connection for all the Plus connect...

Mr Wiz, I am still baffled by your report of getting 17v at the array side of your PWM controller. (I would expect to see battery voltage plus a bit for line loss there)
Any chance your voltage readings there have something to do with this situation you are describing here?
