My awning is a mess and I need to replace it. The roof and the awning create a valley where debris accumulates and rots my awning. Got any ideas how I can prevent this with the new awning?

My awning is a mess and I need to replace it. The roof and the awning create a valley where debris accumulates and rots my awning. Got any ideas how I can prevent this with the new awning?
- I don't see the image, so thought I'd try this:
- Is that a trailer? When storing, raise or lower the tongue so there's a tilt to help the water drain instead of pooling.
When installing a new one, mount the top brackets below the awning rail. You might even be able to eliminate the trough that way.
You might also consider replacing the rail with one which has an integral drip channel:
- Need a little more information. How long is the awning, do you have a center brace for tension? Is it automatic or manual.
