If you can turn the key to Run, and the Instrument Cluster lights up as per normal, then you should be able to energize the relay/solenoid nearest the battery. There's a solenoid at the starter motor also, but it only operates when the first one, near the battery, is sending voltage down to it.
!!!JUST PLEASE MAKE DOUBLE SURE CERTAIN THAT THE TRANSMISSION IS NOT IN GEAR!!!
All safeties will be bypassed when you fire the starter off the above way! Having somebody in the driver seat with brake applied would be best.
I pulled the starter relay and had it tested. It was good. Not sure if that's what you are talking about or not. I am defantly NOT mechanically inclined! That's why I signed up for the GS Roadside assistance. Unfortunately.....not much help if they can't even find a person to come out to where I am located. Small town Nebraska. Farming country. Will have to see if I can talk to a auto repair shop and convince them to make a house call tomorrow if the are open.
Can you tell me how to jump the solenoid? Because as you said, all the instrument lighs light up when I turn it to on! Just won't Crank!
