Need new AC, who's got the best price?

So my AC compressor just blew. Popped its top off and leaked oil all over the place.

Now I am looking for a replacement, I am told the model to replace it with is Coleman Mach 8 47024B879.

Looks to me like PPL is the lowest cost, but their price is before shipping.

    The internet is your friend. Please conduct a few searches and comparison shop to find the answer to your question. Or do you expect others to do that for you?


    What I expected is to find someone that may have just done this and might know a good place to work with. It seems I did get that out of this post. You would know that had you read the thread, or do you expect others to do that for you?

    I suggest you also consider the high efficiency model Dometic makes. It is great if you need to use it with a Honda 2000 genny or plugged into a house 20 amp outlet.

    If buying a coleman through ppl get shipping insurance they use fedex those ac don't fit the fedex belts and most times boxes are destroyed

    Just bought a washer/dryer from PPL, best price I could find Nation wide, by $150 $500 from the highest. They showed free shipping but I picked it up.

    Two days ago I bought a new A/C for my Tradition from PPL. Checked around and they had the best overall deal. Knowledgeable people who really help you.
