Need new converter: 14.4v or 14.8v?
I need to replace my Iota converter and have been considering the Progressive Dynamics 9245 converter. I have noted there are 2 models: one that goes to 14.4 v in boost and another that goes to 14.8v...

My old converter doesn't push that kind of voltage (14 V +)but the solar is programmable up to 15V. If I want to do an equalization, I use my shop charger.
In storage, I have both banks, 3 x AGM and 2 X FLA connected in parallel. I could run a shore cord to the trailer and float the batteries on the converter but the solar does a better job than anything I can do.
What is the issue with the Iota? Sometimes, a converter repair is simple.
