Need new converter: 14.4v or 14.8v?
I need to replace my Iota converter and have been considering the Progressive Dynamics 9245 converter. I have noted there are 2 models: one that goes to 14.4 v in boost and another that goes to 14.8v...

Contrary to the beliefs of the "Battery Fryers Club", (formed only on this forum)
Normal batteries don't need 14.8 volts. After 20 yrs, PD converters are still doing great at 14.4v. But what the hell would they know ? DUH??!!
