Bare wire connections are no problem. The connectors they use now days are generally standard and any Electronics Tech can slap the proper plug on the bare wires for you.. One hour labor will need to be paid, no more.
If the DVD player is not built into the home theater (Even if it is) you can get a stand-alone DVD or Blue Ray player most anywhere and plug it in, Again the connectors are standard.
Radio Corporation of America (RCA) is still very much around.. Just not "Of America" any more even if it's still their name.. (Most electronics are made overseas now.. Exception is Element TVs which are made in the USA often of importated parts.. But.. You do not want an ELEMENT TV in your RV.. Nothing wrong with them save they do not do digital cable (QAM) They need to fix that.)
