New Atwood Fridge all lights on

All light are lit on fridge Power AC GAS and Check
troubleshooting says open DC fuse on F3 which I have I have checked or open thermal switch. Where is this located and how can it be checked or changed. We lent our camper out and someone tried to charge battery and had reversed the polarity on the cables. Fridge was working good up until then. Is there anything else I could check??? We also had to replace a fuse behind the stereo even though the 2 40 amp fuses blew in the panel it still got to this. Radio is working now the only thing that isn't is the fridge. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

  • I am having this same issue on a new to me 2014 Keystone Bullet. I found the interior fuse box, but where is the exterior black fuse box located as discussed above? I need to check that fuse as well. My stereo is also not working, so that could be a fuse issue as discussed above.
  • ONE final comment. "SO much for loaning out your RV".
  • Thank you so much for all the comments on this post. We had the same issue and had already replaced all inside fuses with the fridge still not working. But after reading all the comments we replaced a glass fuse located in the exterior black fuse box and IT WORKED!!! I took a pic of the fuse box but can't figure out how to post it here. Thanks for yalls help.
  • What size arethe fuses and where can you get at the fridge from the outside. Thanks Bruce
  • I contacted Atwood directly, although there is a fuse in the main panel
there are also three fuses in the exterior electrical box of the fridge compartment. I found 3 cylindrical glass fuses, I haven't replaced them yet but chances are this will solve the problem. You both were of help to me I appreciate your responses. I will post when I get the fuses replaced today on the status of the fridge.
    Thanks again

    Can anyone help Please???

The Atwood fridge is BRAND new. Atwood jumped into the refer business a few years ago. I have 34 years as a professional RV Technician and I have NEVER seen an Atwood yet. So, to get knowledgeable help on any forum will be difficult. Your best bet is either your RV dealer if under warranty, or calling Atwood direct to get troubleshooting help. IF you were at my shop, I would be calling Atwood also. Doug
  • Thank dmgear I will look for it. This fridge is brand new.
  • I have no idea if this helps but when we did our walk around with the dealer they pointed out a black box on the back of our atwood fridge and said that they have had to replace several fuses because people let the battery get too low. I took a picture of the box during our walk through and made the notation. I would be happy to forward you the picture but if you just open up the back of your fridge (from the outside of your trailer) mine has a black box with a white label on it.

Edit: I also had written down that they were the old school cylindrical fuses.
