New fridge won't work

The new camper is less than a year old. The fridge started to cool down today on gas just fine. Then I plugged in shore power and the fridge wouldn't cool down any more.
Then I unplugged the shore power and ran the fridge on gas for several hours and it's not cooling down at all. So now it won't cool down on gas or shore power.

I have temp gauges for both the fridge and freezer with the sensors inside the unit and the reading outside the unit so opening the fridge is not necessary to check temp.

All the lights on the front of the fridge light up correctly and the button to switch from ac to gas functions properly. The "check" light is not lit.

For the heck of it I turned the fridge breaker on and off a few times.

What else can I check to fix this for tomorrow's trip. It has not had any problems in the past.

Thanks.

  • recycle the 12 volt input. Disconnect or switch off. Turn refrigerator controls to OFF before you do this. Leave the gas on but disconnect shore power.

    Switch on shore power

Throw switch or reconnect 12 volts to refrigerator control central

Switch on if necessary the controls at the refrigerator

You never know. This system memory dump might resolve this issue this one time.
  • I just checked the 3 fuses on the board and they ohm out good. 12 volt supply was charged today and is always above 12.5v. How do I reset the board? I couldn't find it on google.

Just filled them up and they are both on. Thanks. Gotta check the easy stuff first right? No offense taken.

Do you have a good 12 volt supply?

I have a about the 12 volt supply.....my DH insists on turning the battery switch off when we are on electric.....will this cause the fridge from working properly????

Yep. It uses 12v for the controls. Without 12v, nothing.
