We have an OP here who built a 460 Ford up to 500+ inches, mid 500's if I remember, and it's still mild enough to be VERY useful in his Class A.
We have another, who replaced his 454 Chevy with a 502 GM Crate Motor.
I just wish our V10 was a V12. Wait, no I don't; I'd never be able to get to the house from the cockpit...
Drove a 1930's Cadillac with a V16. "Only" 452 inches and probably not all that much HP, but the thing was all torque. My friend discovered it in a barn, retired from launching gliders at a rural airfield. Zero to 100 from a dead stop in high gear (third) pulling the glider behind. No slack in the cable because the driver didn't shift.
