My original power cord male end is separating from the cord and wobbles. I have taped it up to prevent and damage but would like to change it with a new end. I have seen the yellow camco models BUT they are not watertight, and are kind of cheaply made.
Any connector that you retrofit to an existing cable isn't going to be 100% waterproof as was the original which was molded on at the factory. Another solution is to install the connector of your choice but also shorten the cable so it reaches just to where it can be protected from rain - i.e. wheel well, under a slide, or for hybrids and popups under a bed platform - and use an extension cable to reach the power post. Keep this connection point off the ground and it will also be fully protected from pooling water. This is an example I used on a popup we once owned but the same principle can be applied no matter what type of rig you have.
