New shore power cord plug

I can't see why you would need it water tight? Are you going to submerge it in the lake?

I have had those connections when using extensions just lay on the ground (not in a couple inches of standing water) in the woods or in grass through all day rains and thunderstorms for weeks and months at a time, and have never so much as kicked a breaker. Have not electrified the entire property either. The same with extension cords in general.

If you need to worry about such things just jam it in a Walmart bag and slap a tie on it.

I use the Campco and made it water tight myself. I got the one that will fit inside the access ports with th door shut.

Any connector that you retrofit to an existing cable isn't going to be 100% waterproof as was the original which was molded on at the factory. Another solution is to install the connector of your choice but also shorten the cable so it reaches just to where it can be protected from rain - i.e. wheel well, under a slide, or for hybrids and popups under a bed platform - and use an extension cable to reach the power post. Keep this connection point off the ground and it will also be fully protected from pooling water. This is an example I used on a popup we once owned but the same principle can be applied no matter what type of rig you have.

Should note that the connectors are "water-resistant" and not "waterproof".

The Camco connectors do a good job. They come in 2 sizes for 30 amp. The smaller one can allow the box covers to close in most cases.
Any of the replacement connectors are not that waterproof but by applying a good amount of electrical grease will prevent water and corrosion around the connections. You can use silicone, but it makes it difficult to check connections later on.

Water tight might require a complete cord.

On mine the sheath was pulling back exposing the wires. I was able to lay the cord out straight in the warm sun and work/pull the sheath toward the plug until it fit back in nicely. I used some JB Weld to seal it and hold it together. Been fine ever since.

Try this LINK but I don't think it is any better than Camco's. I don't know what you consider cheap about the Camco plug and the one in the link looks about the same construction but weatherproof.

The type with a handle may prevent the outlet box lid from closing. Paint the connections with Liquid Tape.
