OK- I checked with the multimeter and with the panel connected and charging the battery voltage read 16.8 at the posts. I disconnected the panel and the battery voltager dropped to 13.5.
The Battery Monitor is reading correctly and with the panel disconnected the Charge Controller also reads 13.5- so correct?
Is the 16.8 dangerous or is it desulfating??
Anyway, the panel is switched off now until I can hear from someone about this!
