Still no detail on the exact controller being used, or specifics on how it's wired. A lot of the low cost ones use "low side" control, where it's all done in the ground path, the +V terminals are all connected together inside the controller. Most RVs use a common (chassis) ground for everything, so unless the panel ground is isolated from the common ground, the controller won't do anything useful. They can work, but not with using the controller "load" terminals, since the battery and the loads already share a common ground.
