These are more important than the fact the bluetooth connectivity dropped off at 200 feet. I'd be more concerned with its effectiveness rather than its gadgetry. Is it a EMS or just a surge protector?
As a fellow curmudgeon, I totally agree.
I don't need my EMS, toaster or any other appliance communicating with me.

To me, Hughes failed with its latest device because it has a single LED to cryptically inform the user there's a problem rather than a display giving us V, A and Freq. like other systems.
