new surge device from Hughes

There are "Surge guards" and "Surge guards" it does not mention if it has low voltage or high voltage or frequency shut down if it has time delay re-connect or any of that.. Just the amount of SPIKE supression and the Blue Tooth.

Now I admit blue tooth would be nice. but I want over/under protection not just spike.

You would be better served with the more expensive Progressive or a Southwire 34950 or a cheap voltage meter.

Hughes needs to build this into the booster and the booster needs to have 2x 10% boost or better 3x 8% boost.

Good price and slick replaceable module if lighting strikes.

They make QUALITY products. The 50A unit is $144.

Have owned my autoFormer for around 8 years and has done a great job of keeping the power level safe.
