Anyone have one of these yet? Tired of lugging the 3200w around, might give one of these a try.
Yamaha
Has the same size 79 cc as the 2K version, the Honda EU2200i has a MUCH larger 121 cc engine. Personally I'd take red over blue. ;)
Note too that the Honda 2200 series has a commercial grade engine with a longer warranty, whereas the previous Honda 2000 did not..This, without a price increase caused me to trade up...
Commercial grade engine sounds like advertising fooey to me.
Fooey?? You’re free to believe whatever you like, but this is what the fooey merchants at Honda say over on their power-sports website:
Honda GXR120 Engine - Commercial grade reliability
The EU2200i is powered by the Honda GXR120 Commercial Series engine. The GXR120 delivers exceptionally quiet, smooth, fuel-efficient performance in a small, lightweight package. The size of a generator's engine directly correlates to how much power it can produce. At 121cc, the GXR120 is at the top of its class - ensuring the EU2200 always produces the power you need to get the job done. Originally developed for heavy duty construction equipment, the GXR120 also delivers superb durability and reliability.
Note too that it is backed with a three year warranty...
Not to disparage other generator makes - Just to Clarify
