My trailer came with nitrogen-inflated tires, but I've been using a mix of 76% nitrogen, 20% oxygen, with some argon and other trace gases. It seems to be doing well.
Mostly nitrogen is used because it lacks water vapor. That can help stabilize pressure with changing temperatures and can reduce oxidation of the exposed wheel inside the tire. Those are beneficial attributes for high-performance applications, such as race cars, airplanes, etc., but don't have much value for routine use.
