The first thing I would do is remove the new pump and do a bench test. If the piping and tankage worked before you replaced the pump, there is no reason to think it shouldn't work now.
The line from the water tank to the pump must come out from the bottom of the tank, or from a fitting at the side of the tank right near the bottom.
You have a line that goes into the inlet side of the pump. That line comes from the outlet of the fresh water tank. If the tank has water in it, remove that line, and gravity should cause water to flow out of the tank through that line.
If things were moved around during the pump installation, any line that is made of flexible hose may have kinked.
