Hot water does freeze faster than cold water and is known as the Mpemba effect, however the reasons are not understood. The Wikipedia link below is a reference. The article however is focused on open containers and doesn’t suggest what the results would be for a closed container or for water under pressure. So, it’s not clear that this applies to hot water in a RV. Some of the possible reasons could be independent of the container or pressure.
