First, I'm sure it's something obvious. But we leave in two days and I can't figure out what I've missed.I dewinterized, all the pink stuff out of the water tank, using the pump. Ran bleach water through fresh water tank and out faucet twice. Also let the low point drains drain their pink out, and the shower. All fine.Put the anode in the water heater. Turned the bypasses all on. Hooked up to city water. Turned on. Ran to back to check for leaks and didn't hear any water coming into water heater. Went inside. Tried sink. water came out until lines cleared and then nothing. Like there is not any water pressure. Tried shower - pressure fine. Went and made sure I turned the hose to the city water on - it was.Trying to eliminate, put two more gallons of water in fresh water tank. Turned on pump. Came out very slowly in sink--toothpick size stream, shower fine. Then pump stopped - it wasn't on more than 30 seconds so I can't imaging that burned it up. What have I missed?? Where's the water??PS I also flipped the bypasses back and forth once or twice just in case I had something wrong, but no sound change nothing.Someone tell me I'm stupid here and missed something because I don't have time to go in for a repair tomorrowOh and the pump is not making a peep now. I even pulled the fuse. Waited. Put it back in. Switch on. nothing. I'm at a standstill.Help please.

Water filter (if you have one) on sink or sink faucet screen plugged.

Water filter was not on hose this time (usually do at campground but I'm home). Will look at sink faucet screen because shower ran fine.In the meanwhile to keep myself from hitting refresh constantly, I went out and worked on other things. Every little bit I flipped on the pump to see if it chirped (hoping... wishing...) The very last time before I locked up, the pump came on. Still nothing in the sink but shower running. I'm happy I didn't blow up the pump - it not working either is what thew me the most. I'll go check the sink. Thank you

You need more than a few gallons in the fresh water tank to get the pump primed - go for a least a quarter of a tank. The suggestions for checking all the screens on the faucets is a good one.

WA8 - did turn out to be the faucet clogged. A bunch of build up from the water heater clogged it.

ROYB - that is helpful... I was trying to picture it all but there was one thing I wasn't sure of at the time. This clarifies it!

Let me get this straight.. The cold water system is working but your problem is the hot.. When you opened the valve you did not hear water enter the water heater, And water came out of the lines till they cleared, then air came out?

If the above is right what you are missing is six minutes.

Leave the hot water faucet open for six to 10 minutes or till water comes out.

This is, by the way 100% normal (if it works).

X2 I flush the hot water tank with the plug out, then close it off and flush through the pressure relief, then flush it sealed.

Flush the hot water tank by leaving the plug out and turn the water on to the trailer. Swish around inside with a 1/4" dowel thru the drain. Some trailer supply places have a skinny nozzle that can be hooked to your hose to flush it out. When no more particles come out you're good to go.

Thank you everyone, problem solved. Yes, the obvious always bites me. If the faucet in the house had started acting like that I immediately would have taken the screen out, but since I was de-winterizing for only the 2nd time I panicked and thought I did something wrong.
Separate question this brings me to, the amount of white crystally stuff in the screens on the faucet make me glad it plugged so we cleaned it out! It ran fine until the bypass was off and I turned on the hot water so that must have been built up in the hot water heater tank (which was empty all winter, anode out). If there's something else I should be doing to "clean" out the hot water heater tank, advice welcomed.

Love this forum! I hope as we become more experienced we can help more people, too.
